I am a software developer, robot builder, prop designer/builder, and dork. I started writing code in the early 2000s and I got my first 3D printer in 2012. From the first day of each of those experiences, I fell in love with the ability to create something from nothing.

Now I make write code for a living and create micro-apps, costume props, repair parts, and random trinkets for fun. Outside of tech, I’m love me a good book and playing D&D with my friends.

For months my players were following a story line that would culimate in a battle deep under ground so I prepared a 3d printed battleground. The (unfortunately) rectuangular main space with a few smaller sections made for a good combat space. I planned for several of the walls to be removable as the players’ opponents were rather tough. Website Update

Slowly moving

As you can clearly tell, things are a bit of a mess here. I’m finally building this website fresh instead of being lazy and having it redirect to PrusaPrinters. To try something new, I’m building the new version of the site using Hugo and GitLab Pages. By changing from a Drupal based CMS to this system, I get to learn a new framework and learn more about GitLab’s CI/CD.
